Timeouts with underlying storage provider

We've received confirmation that there's a problem with the storage provider and they're working on a fix.
The underlying storage provider is experiencing timeouts when contacting their APIs. This is having a negative impact on Asset uploads and the display of non-cdn-cached assets.
We've reached out to them over multiple channels to get things back up and running.
